Going to kohupatiki marae

I loved having a visit to kohupatiki marae on the  24.6.16 for the whole day we did 4 different activities eatch. I did games,story of the Marae,poi making,flax weaving,and everyone made a chocolate chip cookie stars with hundreds of thousands on the top. It was a quite nice day. Everyone went into different groups eatch group went with a jounour class. I think everyone loved it in Clive school

Earth to Pluto

Task: write a set of instructions on how to get from Earth to a planet of your choice.

WALT:

- a chosen planet’s location in the solar system.

- a chosen planet’s distance from earth.

- planets you will pass by to get to the chosen planet.

- obstacles that may be on the journey, e.g. Atmosphere, moons...

    We had to measure and put together a 2D net to a 3D net template

Reading work with Mr Wallace

WALT:read narative story's and to look at meanings of the story's we have also done character profiles.

WILF:I can understand and talk about a story I can identify what a character is like from a story.

This story is about a crayfish exapape to the sea

Writing

We had to do a free write BUT we had to add a duck keys and jandles

There was a duck who found a key in a hotel. It said apparent 666. The duck went to 666

Opened the door there was a wardrobe with four locks on it. the duck pick locked them all

There was a dead body on the wall the duck went to the phone dials 911 said police. There was a jump scare on t.v. He fell out the window  there was a man on top of the building laughing the police tracked the phone and did an investigation in the morning. The next day the police went to 666 they saw were the duck fell one of the cops got pulled into the darkness another one got covered in blood he couldn't see he shot another cop one of the cops put on a sweet pair of jandles and got teleported in a volcano there was one cop left he had a sledgehammer he dropped the sledgehammer on the man's foot he ran down stairs got more cops to come up

They locked the man up and took him to prison 

                                                          HE EXPECTED 

No one could find him 

Later they went to 666 and carved in the wall it said 

                                                                           RUN

The cops heard screaming everyone was gone
